The 2019 season of the Indian Premier League is not too far away. There is new news coming every day about the upcoming auction which is jus about a fortnight away. A total of 1003 players have registered their names for the auction. According to the ESPN Cricinfo who have managed to access the email sent to the franchises on Monday, Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has kept his base price as Rs. 1 crore.
He was released by the Kings XI Punjab following a poor season last year. Yuvraj was picked up by the team from his hometown at his previous base price of 2 crore in the IPL 2018 auction.
On the other hand, Jaydev Unadkat, the most expensive Indian player from last season, has kept his base price at Rs 1.5 crore despite failing to live up to the expectation while playing for the Rajasthan Royals. Ishant Sharma who has only been representing the Indian Test team decided to keep his base price to Rs 75 Lakhs. Among youngsters, the most surprising retention of the last year Sarfraz Khan who was eventually released by Royal Challengers Bangalore is available for a minimum of Rs 20 lakhs.
