It is said that the Vivo V19 series will be booked in India by the end of the month. The new series, which is expected to include the Vivo V19 and vivo V19 Pro, will debut in the country in March - right ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 which is scheduled for March 23. The Vivo V19 is likely to be the successor to the Vivo V17, while the Vivo V19 Pro would come as an upgrade to the Vivo V17 Pro. Both phones in the Vivo V17 series were unveiled last year with multiple rear cameras.
The advance booking for the Vivo V19 series will begin in India later this month, according to 91 mobile phones citing people familiar with the development. The new Vivo phones are said to be priced between Rs20,000-30,000 price range and will be available at online and licensed retail stores in the country.
It is speculated that the Vivo V19 Pro would be on sale before the vivo V19 standard. It looks similar to what we saw at the launch of the Vivo V17 and Vivo V15 series last year. In addition, the specifications of both new phones have yet to be rumoured.
Gadget 360 contacted Vivo India for clarity on the launch and the company explicitly declined to comment on the reported details. Therefore, it is safe to consider the relationship with some skepticism.
Remember, the Vivo V15 series debuted in India with the launch of the Vivo V15 Pro from 17,980 euros in February last year. Vivo expanded the series bringing the Vivo V15 to March.
In just six months after the launch of the V15, Vivo has brought the V17 Pro from 25,750 euros to the Indian market with a dual selfie camera pop-up. The company followed the trend of bringing two smartphones into the V Series and launched the Vivo V17 in December.
