Valentine day special vegetable loaded pulao/veg biryani. Read the recipe and cook this pulao for your loved ones. It is very healthy and tasty because of lots off vegetables. It is very easy and can be cook in pressure cooker.

Ingredients-

  1. Rice- 1 bowl
  2. Green peas- 1 bowl
  3. Onion-1
  4. Tomato-1
  5. Fennel seeds- 1/2 tsp
  6. Salt- 2 tsp
  7. green chili- 5
  8. Sugar- 1 tsp
  9. Potato- 1
  10. Carrot- 1
  11. Cabbage- 1 bowl (chopped)
  12. Oil- 4 tbsp
  13. Star anise- 2 (star flower)
  14. Bay leaf-1
  15. Cloves- 2
  16. Black pepper- 4
  17. Cashew- 8
  18. Water- 2 bowl

Recipe-

  1. Heat oil in pressure cooker.
  2. Add fennel seeds, let it split.
  3. Now add bay leaf, star anise, clove, black papper and cashew.
  4. Roast till cashew's color changes slightly.
  5. Add chopped onion and green chilies cook well.
  6. Now add green peas and fry for 2 minutes.
  7. Add all chopped veggies mix it well.
  8. Add tomato puree, salt and sugar.
  9. Mix it well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  10. Now add washed rice and mix it well.
  11. Cook it for 2 minutes and then add water(double of rice).
  12. Pack the pressure cooker and cook till 2 whistle.
  13. Open the pressure cooker when pressure relies automatically.
  14. Our tasty and healthy pulao are ready to eat.

Tips-

  1. Do not open pressure cooker by relies its pressure, open the pressure cooker when pressure relies automatically.
  2. You can add or remove veggies according to your taste.
  3. Add rice's double quantity of water.
  4. Do not soak rice, if rice are soaked then decrease the quantity of water.
  5. If you are using frozen green peas then fry it for 30 seconds only.
