The rising budget of LPG has upset the budget of the common man's kitchen. Other energy options are also being explored to make food. To overcome this, the government itself is exploring the possibility of bio gas option under Renewable Energy. If this is successful, people will have to spend less than half on LPG using bio gas. People living in villages and remote areas will benefit from it. Apart from this, the environment will also not be contaminated.
The COP-14 (Conference of Parties) at the Expo Center in Knowledge Park is working on another option for energy requirements in the time to come during the energy program. MNRE Secretary Anand Kumar said that bio gas is a better alternative to energy. He said that it can be made an alternative to LPG to meet the energy needs.
Rural grids are being constructed for its use. 10 demos have been used for its use in place of LPG. It can be used in the next 10 months. Bio gas is much cheaper than LPG. Its benefits can be extended to people's kitchens. People will be charged a bill for this.
