Twinkle Khanna is known for her witty sense of humour and her sarcastic comment on various debatable things going on in the country. Recently, Twinkle shared a piece of knowledge that she got from a scientist. The actress expressed that we should thank people who put hurdles in our paths as hurdles make us more strong and experienced. She wrote on her Official Twitter handle: “Something I learned from a scientist today: Each time someone puts a hurdle in your path- thank them, it’s the hurdle that makes you take a leap!”

While people were appreciating and agreeing with her Tweet, there came a Grammar Nazi who tried correcting Mrs Funnybones. The Twitter user pointed out a mistake in her tweet and expressed that she should have written ‘learnt’ instead of ‘learned’ in her tweet.

And to everybody’s amusement, she retweeted and explained the difference between the word ‘learnt’ and ‘learned’. She wrote, “Learned and learnt are alternate forms of the past tense and past participle of the verb learn. I hope you learned something today. Cheers!”
