MS Dhoni to set a unique record in home series against Australia

Dhoni recently became the joint-third in the list of cricketers with the most number of ODIs under his belt for India

Dhoni (594) is two behind South Africa’s Mark Boucher who presently holds the record

He now has the chance to add another record to his name as he is just three matches away from becoming the wicket-keeper to play the most number of games in any format of cricket

Dhoni joined the likes of Chris Gayle, Shoaib Malik and Dwayne Bravo in an elite list of players with over 300 T20 appearances to their name

The Indian squad for the same hasn’t been announced yet. However, if MS Dhoni gets to play against the Aussies, he would add another record to his name

India will be hosting Australia for a 2-match T20I series beginning from February 24 followed by a 5-match ODI rubber

After a decent outing in the limited-overs series in Australia and New Zealand, Indian wicketkeeper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is now gearing up for the upcoming home series
