One of the primary difficulties when it comes to playing PUBG on a mobile phone is excelling at shooting. Sure, there are easy-to-use on-screen controls but when you play shooter games on touch-screen devices, getting a good aim takes a lot of patience and hard work. That’s when smartphone gaming accessories come in handy. Taiwanese electronics company Asus recently unveiled the first Gaming Phone called ROG Phone in the Indian market, and it's evident from the popularity of games like PUBG that gaming is a serious business.
If you are a PUBG enthusiast who doesn’t wish to burn a hole in his/her pocket by going for the ROG Phone, we have discovered a device that could transform you current smartphone into a gaming device. It's called the Kacool L1R1 mobile game controller gamepad and could prove to be the perfect accessory to improve your aim and survive longer in PUBG.
Kacool L1R1 price and availability details
At the time of writing this, the Kacool L1R1 is priced at Rs 549 on Amazon India. The box package includes a pair of PUBG game triggers. This is somewhat similar to what Asus ROG Phone’s Ultrasonic AirTriggers. In a nutshell, AirTriggers are programmable buttons that only take haptic feedback. Meaning, they are not tactile or clickable buttons that gamers otherwise find on most of the gaming controllers out there.
Contrary to that, Kacool L1R1 has tactile triggers to shoot. Furthermore, there s a pair of gamepad controllers. Given that they are stretchable, it can work with a screen size between 4.5-inch and 6.5-inch. One can also charge the phone while playing PUBG, courtesy of a hole on the right side of the gamepad.
How to setup Kacool L1R1
All you need to do is undraw gamepads, target the slot and embed them together. Simply put and adjust your phone on the gamepad depending on its form factor. If you want to charge your phone, the gamepad has a socket hole so that you can easily plug in your phone’s charging cable. Before you start using these triggers, open PUBG Mobile and customise your game’s controls.
Customise the on-screen control to fire in a such a way that it’s right underneath on-screen triggers’ placement. Save your settings and you’re done! What happens when you do both the things (aim and fire using on-screen) touch controls, you tend to lose the momentum and focus further degrading the quality of your aim.
