Hardik's father loved cricket. He always showed his two sons together, and sometimes even took him to the stadium for the match. At the same time, he got Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya admitted to Kiran More's academy despite financial constraints. Hardik Pandya failed in ninth class. After this, he quit studies to focus solely on cricket. Hardik says that he did not even have his own cricket kit when he was 17 years old.
