After a long break, comedian Kapil Sharma has returned with a fresh season of his popular show The Kapil Sharma Show. The comedy show that premiered in April 2016 ruled rating charts for more than a year before it took a season break in August last year after the comedian's infamous mid-air brawl with collegue Sunil Grover and the show's subsequent drop in ratings.
Kapil's next show Family Time With Kapil Sharma that started airing in March 2018 did not work in his favour and flopped miserably.
The comedian's mental health was one of the primary reasons behind the failure of the show apart from the dull format.
