'Fantastic Beasts 2: The Crimes of Grindelwald' trailer takes us back to Hogwarts

Fantastic Beasts isn't much about the beasts anymore, but that's okay.

The first trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald released on Tuesday, and this time it's all about an old friend: Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law).

The teaser opens on a visit to Hogwarts, ostensibly from magical law enforcement (who Apparate directly onto the footbridge, which LOL no) who are tracking Newt Scamander's movements abroad.

But Newt isn't one for following the rules, as Dumbledore notes and as viewers have seen. He's in Paris, and he's on the move, with Jacob (Dan Fogelman), Tina (Katherine Waterson) and Queenie (Alison Sudol) in tow. What started as a quest for magizoology has turned into a hunt for the darkest wizard in history (at the time, anyway): Grindelwald (Johnny Depp, who is only in this trailer for a little bit, because of reasons).

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald releases Nov. 16.
