Both models namely the Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro should meet us at the October 16 event in India. The Redmi Note 8 will come with Snapdragon 665, a 48MP triple camera setup, and a 4000mAh battery. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 8 Pro will be targeted at heavy users with MediaTek G90T gaming-centric processor, a 64MP quad-camera setup, and a larger 4500mAh battery. MediaTek had earlier revealed that the G90T will change the perception of the company in India with the Redmi Note 8 Pro. With the Redmi Note 8 series releasing on October 16, the independent brand would have released four smartphones in India in a span of 20 days! The timing is actually perfect given how all these new models will be available before the Diwali season in India.

The Redmi Note 8 series is already available in European markets like Ukraine, Germany, and Spain, alongside Asian markets like Malaysia. The Indonesian launch is scheduled a day after the India launch, on October 17.
