Three police personnel sustained injuries in the stone pelting.

Police personnel in Rajasthan's Dholpur came under attack while trying to enforce lockdown in the region on Wednesday.

"Our jawans were performing duty today. Some people physically assaulted them there. They have registered a case from the police's side. We have taken around five people in custody, three of our police personnel have sustained injuries have and we have increased presence over there," Devi Sahai Meena, Deputy Superintendent of Police, said.

Some people started pelting stones at the police personnel who were trying to enforce lockdown in Dholpur. Three police personnel sustained injuries in the stone pelting.

After the assault, the police conducted search operations at the houses of those suspected of indulging in stone pelting.

The police presence in the Kotla mohalla of Rajasthan Dholpur had to be increased and the police also took some people in custody.
