Filmfare South Awards 2017: Who wore what

The 64th Jio Filmfare Awards (South) night was filled with glitz and glamour where most of the stars from the southern film industry were present. The event will take place on June 17 at Novotel and HICC Complex in Hyderabad. It is an annual event that unites four film industries - Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. The 64th Filmfare South Awards was hosted by Allu Sirish, Ragini Dwivedi and Vijay Devarakonda. Here we have look at best dressed celebs-

Pranitha Subhash
Pranitha did black at the South Filmfare Awards in an Aanchal Rohra gown and wet do. The gown itself and the wet look combo may not feel novel but she made it work. She looked nice.

Rakul Preet
Rakul wore a one-shouldered Carmen Marc Valvo to the Filmfare Awards with an updo and a berry lip. We have said it before many a times, lame is a very tricky material to pull off. While waist up, Rakul looked good, the shortened hemline made the overall look feel less effective. You only have to see the same gown made in silver to notice that that extra fabric in the front made a world of a difference.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu
Samantha attended the South Filmfare Awards wearing an Anamika Khanna draped sari-inspired dress featuring her signature cape. The updo was a good move.

Nivetha Thomas
Nivetha, who started her career in Malayalam movies, was seen at the Filmfare Awards in Hyderabad wearing a black dress from Siddartha Tytler. She look beautiful in velvet dress.

Raashi Khanna
At the Filmfare Awards South, Raashi was seen in a green Dolly J gown, one that she wore with emerald toned jewellery from Kenneth Jay Lane. She still looked pretty.

Regina Cassandra
At the Filmfare Awards South, Regina did silver in a Shriya Som gown paired with a fringe clutch also by the label. Adding more fringe to the overall look were the earrings.

Lavanya Tripathi
Lavanya attended the Filmfare Awards South wearing a navy Rocky S gown. The ruffle gown with its fish-scale beaded waist detail may not be everyone's cup of tea, but she looked nice. Shehe went the toned down makeup route.

Rhea Chakraborty
Rhea picked a Nishka Lulla gown to wear to the the Filmfare Awards South. Keeping it simple, she wore her hair down in a middle parted do and paired the grey floral print gown with traditional earrings from Mahesh Notandas.

Ritu Varma wore black gown. She complete her look with minimal makeup.

Trisha Krishnan look very pretty in pink floral gown. She complete her look with hair bun and minimal makeup.
